Mining is also a wonderful profession to have. This skill allows you to be able to dig up some nice materials from random veins throughout Azeroth. These veins can produce ores, stones, and gems which are used to create weapons, armor, and many other items. Mining is best paired with Blacksmithing or Engineering. Mining is a primary profession and therefore counts towards one of your two profession limits.
