Engineers have the ability to make ammunition, explosives, armor, and contraptions that can greatly benefit your character in many different ways. Enginneering is mainly for use with PvE and PvP, and not a huge money maker. Engineering is a Primary Profession and therefore counts towards one of your two profession limits.
