For the player who just wants to make a good, honest living. The limit of 2 major tradeskills forces players into three stereotypes: the "salt of the earth" player who focuses on two gathering skills (e.g. herbalism and mining), the crafters who focus on two creation skills (e.g. tailoring and enchanting) and the self-sufficient type who attempt to do one of each. Despite popular belif, profits tend to be higher if you stick to two gathering skills or two crafting skills.
Pros: Your armor rarely gets damaged, and profits can be extremely high when there's an untapped niche. For example, providing gems on patch days when new item sets are introduced.
Cons: The risks are slightly higher than farming, and it takes some familiarity of your server's market.
